Matt has over 20 years of construction experience with a concentration in residential, commercial, industrial and retail construction throughout his career. Most recently, Matt has served as Sr. Vice President of construction for Redburn Development and President of Meso Construction and Nimbus Mechanical, Redburn Companies. He led a team of 20 construction staff and construction of 650+ units, both renovation and ground-up construction totaling $200M+ over the past 6 years. Matt has overseen 15+ historic tax credit projects as well as retail, medical office, parking garages, student housing, hotels and numerous tenant fit-ups (schools, restaurants, gyms, wedding and music venues and retail stores.)
Managing over $3B worth of construction projects in his career, Matt has a keen understanding of all phases of project management from inception through to completion with a focus on cost, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction. Projects range from Cogeneration Power Plants, Higher Education, Industrial, Mixed-Use, Athletic Facilities, and Commercial and Retail.
Matt was an honoree of the Albany Business Review, 40 Under 40 in 2022. Matt holds a bachelor’s degree from the University at Albany in Communication and was a member of the Football and Baseball Teams. Matt serves on the Board of Directors for the University at Albany Athletic Committee and volunteers as a basketball and football coach. In his time away from work, Matt enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.

Greg has spent the past 8 years in construction and property management after transitioning from the retail business he founded and operated successfully for over 15 years. He is skilled in managing teams and complex projects and leads our company’s construction division. Greg is responsible for managing all our job sites as our teams of contractors work through extensive renovations of newly acquired projects/properties. Additionally, Greg manages the ongoing maintenance and capital projects for our entire portfolio of properties. Greg holds a Master’s in Business Administration.

A seasoned Senior Project Manager who brings more than 15 years of proven excellence to CG Construction Group, where he leads high-visibility projects with a focus on quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. Known for managing multiple large-scale initiatives simultaneously, Peter has overseen projects ranging from $150,000 to over $50 million across commercial, industrial, and advanced technology markets. His track record includes delivering complex, multi-building programs and mission-critical development centers—always with a commitment to safety, precision, and proactive communication.
Throughout his career, Pete has earned a reputation as a strategic problem-solver and collaborative leader who understands every phase of the construction lifecycle. His experience spans project management, cost engineering, estimating, procurement, subcontractor coordination, value engineering, and risk mitigation. Prior to joining CG Construction Group in September 2025, he held key project management roles with top construction firms across New York State, consistently guiding teams to exceed performance and financial targets. Pete is proficient in leading industry platforms such as Procore, Viewpoint, and PMWeb, and maintains OSHA 30 certification. He holds a Master of Construction Management from Western Carolina University and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management from Siena College.
Outside of work, Pete enjoys a full and active life. When he’s not on a job site or collaborating with project stakeholders, he spends his free time boating, golfing, and making memories with his three children. His dedication to family, community, and personal growth mirrors the values he brings to every project—reliability, passion, and a commitment to building with purpose.

Project Controls Manager

Supporting a wide range of project functions, including the bidding process, contract negotiation, and the management of internal documents and financials. With a strong focus on organization and strategic oversight, she assists her team from proposal through completion, to ensure that each project runs efficiently. Throughout her 8 years within the construction industry, Brennagh has played a key role in the successful completion of more than 10+ historical renovation projects, helping transform once-vacant buildings into vibrant residential and commercial spaces that bring new life to local communities. Brennagh holds an undergraduate degree in Biology and Health Sciences from SUNY Oswego and an MBA from The Sage Colleges. She is passionate about revitalizing empty structures and creating beautiful, functional places for people to live.

Operations Coordinator

Brings a multifaceted background in development, asset management, and municipal operations to the company’s project delivery team. She plays a central role in maintaining accuracy, organization, and forward momentum across multiple active projects, supporting both field and office operations. Prior to joining CG Construction Group, Brooke held a role in the Enterprise and Asset Management teams at Bonacio, where she strengthened her skills in legal-document interpretation, financial review, and end-to-end construction project coordination. Her earlier position as Executive Assistant to the Commissioner of Public Works for the City of Saratoga Springs provided firsthand experience with permitting, zoning and other municipal processes that underpin city infrastructure. This combined experience gave her a strong understanding of how public and private systems shape project execution.
Brooke holds a Bachelor of Education in History from McGill University.

Superintendent

Results-driven construction Superintendent with more than a decade of leadership experience in commercial building projects. As a Commercial Construction Superintendent with CG Construction group But previously worked for BBL Construction services for 10 years, he has overseen large-scale operations, coordinated materials and subcontractors, and ensured strict compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Erick is known for completing projects on time and within budget, implementing efficient workflows, and maintaining an unwavering commitment to safe job-site practices. Erick has professional experience working in medical, hospitality and school settings as well as most commercial construction and apartments.
Before becoming a superintendent, Erick built a strong foundation in the trades as a Union Carpenter with Local 291. His hands-on experience includes framing, finish carpentry, blueprint interpretation, and managing crews across a wide variety of complex projects. With a proven ability to lead teams of 50 or more, he has consistently delivered high-quality craftsmanship while fostering collaboration, problem-solving, and productivity among workers and subcontractors.
In addition to his construction career, Erick is deeply committed to public service. A volunteer firefighter since age 16, he recently expanded his dedication to the community by earning his New York State EMT-P certification at the age of 18. He continues to practice his skills with the Schoharie Fire Department. Combining construction expertise with emergency service training, Erick brings leadership, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility to every role he takes on. After high school, Erick has set his sights on serving his country by joining the United States Navy, viewing it as an opportunity to further develop discipline, leadership, and technical skills while giving back at a higher level.
Outside of his professional career, Erick has a strong passion for the outdoors and an active family life. He enjoys spending his free time hunting and being outdoors, appreciating the discipline, patience, and respect for nature that comes with it. Equally important to him is giving back to his community and supporting his family by coaching his children’s Little League teams, where he enjoys teaching teamwork, responsibility, and sportsmanship while creating lasting memories with his kids.

John Patrick Maloney is a U.S. Navy veteran and accomplished Superintendent / Construction Manager with more than 15 years of experience delivering complex, fast-paced construction projects. His background includes healthcare, critical infrastructure, transit, and occupied facilities, where precision, safety, and coordination are essential.
Known for strong field leadership, John excels at managing multi-trade teams, maintaining schedules, enforcing safety standards, and overseeing documentation through project closeout. He brings a hands-on, solutions-driven approach that consistently supports quality execution, schedule control, and successful project delivery.
